The 10 high schools that send the most students to the University of Florida

The 10 high schools that send the most students to the University of Florida — from the high schools' own published lists
The angle
    • Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa, Florida names the University of Florida 28 times for one class year. That is first of 81 schools whose published lists name the University of Florida.
    • Seven of the top 10 schools are in Florida. The other three are in New York, Illinois and Texas.
    • On the acceptances side, Canterbury School-Fort Myers is first, with 27 admissions for the Class of 2026.

Berkeley Preparatory School sits first on this board. A matriculation list is the list where a school says its graduates enrolled. Berkeley Prep's published list names the University of Florida 28 times. The school labels that list "Class of 2026." That is one class year. So the school's figure per class year is also 28. Per class year means the count a school printed, divided by the class years its list covers.

The board is a home-state board at the top. Seven of the 10 schools in the table are in Florida. One is in New York. One is in Illinois. One is in Texas. Second place is The Bolles School in Jacksonville, at 23.0 per class year from its Class of 2026 list. Third is Pine Crest School in Fort Lauderdale, at 16.4 per class year. Pine Crest printed 82, and labels its list "2022-26."

The far-from-Florida schools reach the top 10 on one strong year. Syosset Senior High School printed 12 for the Class of 2025. New Trier Township H S Winnetka printed 6 for the Class of 2025. Westwood H S in Austin printed 5 for the Class of 2026.

Acceptances are a separate list, and a separate ranking. Enrolled and admitted lists are never mixed here. On the acceptances board, Canterbury School-Fort Myers in Fort Myers, Florida is first, with 27 admissions printed for the Class of 2026. Fifteen schools are ranked there.

A school that is not on the list did not publish a numbered matriculation list we could read. That is all absence means. It is never a statement about its graduates.
