Eleven Dallas private schools share one application deadline — January 8

Eleven Dallas private schools with applications due January 8, 2027, over the Reach Dallas tracker branding.

Eleven Dallas private schools have applications due on the same day: January 8, 2027. St. Mark's, Parish Episcopal, Jesuit, Ursuline, Good Shepherd, Lakehill Prep, Bishop Lynch, Christ the King, St. Rita, Akiba Yavneh and Westwood — one deadline.

Nine weeks later it happens again in reverse. Thirteen schools release admission decisions on the same afternoon, March 12: every answer a family is waiting for, one inbox, one day.

And running underneath the private calendar is the public one. Dallas ISD's choice window — magnets, transformation schools, transfers — opens November 1 and closes January 31. Miss it and your student waits on the lottery. The private deadlines land inside that same window, so the real question for most families isn't public or private. It's whether you can run both processes at once without dropping a date.

We built a free tool for exactly that. We pulled every published date from every Dallas school's admissions pages — private, Catholic, DISD choice — and verified each one against the school's own site: 43 schools, roughly 100 dates, each with a source link and a verified-on stamp, re-checked monthly through the season. Pick the schools your family is considering and it merges every application deadline, entrance-test date, open house and decision day into one timeline.

It lives at highschoolreach.com/dallas. If your school's dates change — and every year, some do — the monthly re-check catches it.
